Our research team, led by Professor Emeritus Allen Ming-Lun Hsu at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, is dedicated to advancing precision oral healthcare through the integration of Digital Dentistry Technologies. Over the years, our multidisciplinary group has focused on translational research that bridges clinical dentistry, bioinformatics, and biomedical imaging. Recently, our primary emphasis has shifted toward the development and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Extended Reality (XR) technologies. These tools have been instrumental in revolutionizing areas such as automated dental image analysis, 3D modeling, and immersive dental education. By leveraging AI-driven diagnostics and XR-based clinical training platforms, we aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy, improve treatment planning, and transform both patient experience and dental education for the next generation.
